Gallery Information |
Established in London in 1967 by owner Nicholas Logsdail, the Lisson Gallery has maintained its unique profile and position as one of the most innovative, artist-led galleries in the world with the most intellectually cutting-edge conceptual artists working today.

Lisson Gallery has been at the forefront of developments in contemporary art for forty years and has maintained its position as an independent force in the international art world. The gallery has an ongoing program of solo shows by the most exciting and interesting artists emerging internationally.

Neatly avoiding the ephemera of the YBA phenomena, Lisson Gallery has supported and nurtured the careers of no fewer than five Turner Prize winners including Anish Kapoor and Tony Cragg, both of whom are still represented by the gallery today. The gallery's third-generation roster of young, emerging artists represents the very finest conceptual innovators exhibiting across the globe today, including Allora & Calzadilla, Ceal Floyer, Jonathan Monk, Florian Pumhösl, Tim Lee, Gerard Byrne, and Sean Snyder.
