A collaboration between art-agenda and Art Basel, this new series of podcasts looks at issues from the artworld and beyond, hosted by e-flux director Julieta Aranda. Focusing on some of today's most urgent topics, the recordings cover the intersection of art, climate, surveillance, gender disparity, and rising nationalism, and bring together some of the most respected voices in the field. Prequel to art-agenda and Art Basel's Podcast Series

Hosted by e-flux director Julieta Aranda, the podcasts focus on some of today’s most important issues, intersecting art, politics, environmental action, and gender disparity. The podcasts bring together the voices of highly respected experts and thinkers such as Benjamin H. Bratton, Coco Fusco, Stefanie Hessler, the Otolith Group, Otobong Nkanga, Trevor Paglen, and Lucia Pietroiusti, among many others, who jointly reflect on how art addresses issues including how to tackle and reduce the emission of carbon footprint, the challenges of being an artist and a mother, the persistence of surveillance states, and the rise of new nationalisms.

Art denizens crisscross the globe, from biennial to art fair, bumping into familiar faces at exhibitions and on airplanes. What is the environmental impact of this movement? This episode hopes to shift the trend towards ecological responsibility in the field.
