By Rail

Basel is situated in the heart of Europe – where Switzerland, Germany, and France meet – making it a rail hub with excellent national and international links, including direct daytime and nighttime connections from Germany, Austria, Italy, France and the Benelux countries.The 'Basel SBB/SNCF' and 'Basel Badischer Bahnhof' train stations are located near the show venue.

By Car

Located right off of the A2 motorway, Basel is easily reached by car. The 'Messe' exit from the A2 motorway leads directly to the show venue and congress ground. A multi-story car park adjacent to the venue accommodates 1,200 vehicles.

Art Basel's Conversations series is open to the public from Wednesday, June 12 to Saturday, June 15. Conversations start every morning at 10am in Hall 1.

Our show takes place at the Swiss exhibition site Messe Basel, featuring a hall designed by international architects Herzog & de Meuron of Basel.
