We look forward to welcoming you to Art Basel's 2021 edition in Miami Beach. The health and safety of Art Basel's guests, exhibitors, and staff is our utmost priority. We will therefore be deploying robust measures to create a safe fair environment.
Please be aware of the following safety precautions:
- Every visitor age 12 and older will be required to provide proof of a negative, lab-administered COVID-19 test in order to gain access to the halls. Alternatively, visitors may opt to voluntarily provide proof of a completed COVID-19 vaccination or documentation of recent recovery from COVID-19 - issued by a licensed healthcare provider or facility - to gain entry.
- In compliance with the City of Miami Beach and the Miami Beach Convention Center's (MBCC) safety regulations, wearing a mask covering mouth and nose will be mandatory inside the venue for anyone age 2 and older.
- All visitors, exhibitors, and staff members will be required to complete a self-reported symptom screening every day prior to entering the fair.
- A system of timed entry will be in place to control crowding inside the halls.
The County of Miami-Dade is reporting a 91% vaccination rate of eligible people age 12 and older, while case counts have seen a steady decrease. In addition, the MBCC is among the safest venues in the country and has received the GBAC STAR Facility Accreditation in recognition of enhanced venue health and safety measures.
