The Art Basel Cities Talks Program in Buenos Aires will facilitate exchanges and conversations about art between members of the Argentine and international art communities, together with the wider public. The first two panel discussions this year will be held in collaboration with arteBA, the largest contemporary art fair in Latin America.
This talk focuses on the impact of private investment on the development of the artworld and brings in conversation leading Argentine and international speakers: Enrique Avogadro, Minister of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires (Buenos Aires); Patrick Foret, Director Business Initiatives, Art Basel and Chair of the Board, Art Basel Cities: Buenos Aires (Hong Kong); and Alec Oxenford, President of arteBA Foundation (Buenos Aires). Moderating the event will be András Szántó, Curator of the Art Basel Cities Talks Program (New York).
No RSVP is required for this event. Access to this Art Basel Cities Talk is included with your arteBA ticket, available for purchase here.
