Esplanade of the Biblioteca Nacional Mariano Moreno, Buenos Aires

Art Basel Cities Week | Lunar Party

Join us for a Lunar Party in honor of Leandro Katz's contribution to ‘Hopscotch (Rayuela)’, curated by Cecilia Alemani. In a marriage of the celestial and the terrestrial, Katz has updated his work Alfabeto lunar (1979) on the grounds of the Biblioteca Nacional, Argentina’s national library. The late-night festivities will feature moon projections by Katz, music, and dancing. Attendees are encouraged to continue on to a screening by Stan VanDerBeek at the nearby Planetario Galileo Galilei.

Open until 3am. Free and open to the public.

Enter at Agüero 2502 or from Austria between Pagano and Av. del Libertador.
