kamel mennour
Since 1999, kamel mennour presents across its three Parisian spaces (47, rue Saint-André des Arts, Paris 6 – 6 rue du Pont de Lodi, Paris 6 – 28 Avenue Matignon, Paris 8) and its London gallery in Mayfair (51 Brook Street) the work of about thirty young and internationally acclaimed contemporary artists. Our vision includes 3 principle aims: • to organize, support and produce exhibitions by young contemporary artists as Latifa Echakhch, Alicja Kwade, Christodoulos Panayiotou, Petrit Halilaj, Mohamed Bourouissa, Lili Reynaud-Dewar, David Hominal and Camille Henrot among other ; to promote them worldwide especially through institutions exhibitions, international Biennals and art fairs. • to heighten our audience’s awareness of international artists such as Anish Kapoor, Alberto Giacometti, Tadashi Kawamata, Huang Yong Ping and Alfredo Jaar ; and to collaborate with major French artists as Daniel Buren, François Morellet or Claude Lévêque among others. • to publish four publications per year (a selection of 35 titles is available on our website), and also organize debates with artists, critics and curators. All of diverse origins, the artists of the gallery kamel mennour have spirit and never cease to express their aesthetical, socio-political and identity engagements through their artworks
