Artist studio visit and breakfast
Start the day with an exclusive visit to the prominent studio of artist Claudia Comte at Hof Strickmatt. Located in Basel-Landschaft, Hof Strickmatt is a hybrid site for living and working in connection with the environmental priorities of our changing world. Hof Strickmatt supports artistic development, production and dissemination through both Studio Claudia Comte and the art space, Country SALTS, in addition to the family home shared by Claudia Comte, Samuel Leuenberger and their children.
Guests will enjoy a light breakfast after visiting the Salts space and Claudia Comte's studio.

Artist studio visit
Finish the day with an exclusive visit to the studio of Clare Kenny, a prominent artist, located in the heart of the city.
Nestled within the walls of a 700-year-old church, this studio carries a rich heritage. Originally part of a convent nearby, it transitioned into a military base post-reformation before being reborn as a vibrant studio complex and exhibition space four decades ago. Recently renovated by the city of Basel, this space underwent a transformation three years ago, marking the beginning of Clare Kenny's residency. Spanning 75 square meters, her studio occupies the first floor of this historic church building.

Apéro & meeting with curator at Merian by Art Basel
Within walking distance to Clare Kenny’s studio, enjoy an apéro in the new Art Basel bar at Merian and meet the curatorial eye behind this special project, to conclude the Art Basel week.
The Merian, situated right at the Middle Bridge along the Rhine in Kleinbasel and across Basel’s Old Town, features a hotel bar, restaurant, and terrace that will host a continuous, around-the-clock artistic program.
