How many times have we hung up clothes in the closet? And how many times didn’t we wish to lock ourselves in the house or close the bedroom door? Isolation and enclosure are related to feelings of anxiety, but also to tranquillity and peace. The artist connects perceptions with objects. Why don’t we hang ourselves with the clothes? Why not feel what it is like to be clothing? Why not stop feeling altogether? Why not store what we feel? She seems not to think, she is just doing one more daily task: in the everyday it is one thing after another. When she shuts the closet, the artist stores herself together with time.
