From the outset of its founding in 1977, Mary Boone Gallery exhibited Artists
whose work would become emblematic of their time and influential to succeeding generations. ROSS BLECKNER, DAVID SALLE, and JULIAN SCHNABEL, who would go on to have numerous museum shows throughout the 1980s, 1990s, and through the present, all showed work at the Gallery in its early years.
