Bortolami opened in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood in September, 2005. In the twenty years since, the gallery has continuously presented critically-acclaimed exhibitions and garnered an international audience through consistent global art fair participation. Bortolami relocated to Walker Street in Tribeca in 2017, where it currently operates two independent and one shared gallery space with kaufmann repetto and Andrew Kreps.
