NILS STÆRK was founded in 1997 with a dedication to create a forceful contemporary art gallery in Denmark with an international profile.
Today the gallery represents artists from Scandinavia, Europe, and the Americas working in diverse media, approaches, and genres. In common the artists share a conceptual narrative and an interest to investigate and explore the critical dissemination of current values and conflicts in today’s globalized society.
