Established in Paris in 2007 by Daniele Balice and Alexander Hertling, Balice Hertling first opened in Belleville before moving to the 3rd arrondissement in 2017 and, in 2021, to its current premises in the Marais. From 2012 to 2015, the gallery also maintained a project space in Manhattan.
