The Leo Castelli Gallery opened in New York at 4 East 77th Street on February 10, 1957 and currently maintains two locations in New York, the Upper East Side and Bryant Park. In 1958 the gallery gave Jasper Johns his first exhibition, starting a relationship that remains today, including Castelli Gallery's collaboration with Gagosian Gallery on a seminal 2026 exhibition, "Jasper Johns: Between the Clock and the Bed."
