Equally sensitive to artistic developments and political questions, the gallery is distinguished by an enduring concern for conceptually informed and feminist positions. Trautwein Herleth continues the legacy of Galerie Barbara Weiss, which was founded in 1992 by Barbara Weiss and directed by Bärbel Trautwein and Daniel Herleth since 2016.
