Temnikova-Kasela

Temnikova & Kasela was established in Tallinn in 2010 by artist and gallerist Olga Temnikova and creative entrepreneur, philanthropist and film producer Indrek Kasela. The gallery represents established and emerging artists from Estonia and the wider Baltic and Nordic region, supporting their practices through long-term collaboration, international exhibitions, institutional projects and art fairs. Its programme is rooted in conceptually driven contemporary art, often engaging with social, political and cultural questions.

Over the past 16 years, Temnikova & Kasela has developed a sustained exhibition programme in Tallinn while building connections between the regional and international art scenes. Recent cross-border projects include Zoom (2025–26), bringing together Estonian painter Sirja-Liisa Eelma and French duo Florian & Michael Quistrebert; Unfolding Nuptials (2026), pairing Georgian artist Thea Gvetadze with the work of Estonian self-taught artist Paul Kondas; and Ersatz Strata (2026), a collaborative exhibition by American artist Zody Burke and Swedish artist Klara Zetterholm.

The gallery has also presented international group exhibitions including Don’t Take It Too Seriously (2025), Everyone Is Invited Except Those Who Were Not (2024), Narcotics (2020), Any Body Suspended in Space Will Remain in Space Until Made Aware of Its Situation (2018), and Euroland (2017). Artists presented through the gallery’s exhibition programme include Cosima von Bonin, Klara Liden, Eva Koťátková, Tobias Kaspar, Gili Tal, Sophie Jung, Josephine Pryde, Carlos Motta, Toni Schmale, Kasia Fudakowski, Agnes Scherer, Philipp Timischl, Robertas Narkus, Joshua Citarella, Anna Solal, Thea Gvetadze, Florian & Michael Quistrebert, Zody Burke and Klara Zetterholm.
