Art Basel brings art to all ages. Future art aficionados aged 5 - 11 are invited to join Art Kids, our complimentary, fully supervised children's program led by the Miami Children's Museum. While parents explore the fair, children can enjoy a safe and engaging environment designed especially for young visitors.
Inspired by this year's theme of space and cosmic exploration, children will be immersed in hands-on art activities, storytelling, building, and creative play. Through activities inspired by contemporary artists, children can explore the stars, planets, and galaxies while discovering the connections between art and science.
Admission
- Complimentary for all Art Basel Miami Beach ticket and card holders.
- For children aged 5 – 11.
- Children may attend during fair opening hours.
- Capacity is limited and participation is subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.

Helpful Hints
Introducing children to Modern and Contemporary Art can be the beginning of a life-long adventure. Here are some tips for making the most of your children's visit to Art Basel Miami Beach:
- Children aged 12 and under receive free admission when accompanied by an adult with a valid Art Basel ticket. A valid children’s ticket is mandatory and can be added after selecting an adult ticket. Further information is available on the ticketing page.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- To help everyone enjoy the fair, please encourage children to walk rather than run and keep noise to a minimum.
- Please remind children not to touch the artworks. Even gentle contact can damage delicate surfaces, as the natural oils on our hands can affect them. Some works may also have sharp edges or other elements that are unsafe for children.
- Our security team is here to protect both visitors and the artworks. We appreciate your support in following their guidance.
- Baby strollers are welcome throughout the venue.
- Nursing pods are available in the West Lobby (Level 2) and next to Art Kids in the East Lobby (Level 2) at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
- If you become separated from your child, please notify the nearest member of staff or security immediately.
- Some galleries may present works that are not suitable for children. To request the list of participating galleries that have identified mature content, please contact our team.
- Accompanying adults have accepted the Entrance Disclaimer on behalf of minors in attendance and are responsible for their behavior.
