因全球疫情持續，原定12月舉行的邁阿密海灘展會將取消

巴塞爾藝術展宣佈取消2020邁阿密海灘展會

鑒於全球仍然受到疫症的威脅，邁阿密海灘展會舉行的所在地美國南佛羅里達州以至美國多個地區的疫情仍然嚴重，國際航運受阻甚至停航，美國及全球多個地方都有隔離檢疫的實施，種種因數對舉辦大型活動尤其困難。有見及此，巴塞爾藝術展無奈地作出取消原定於今年12月3至6日假邁阿密會議中心舉行的邁阿密海灘展會的決定。巴塞爾藝術展美洲總監Noah Horowitz表示：「我們深明邁阿密海灘展會對參展藝廊及邁阿密藝術圈與當地經濟的重要，然而我們還是十分遺憾地宣佈取消原定於12月舉行的展會。在此，我們要感謝在過去數月來跟我們一起研究今年舉辦展會可行性的朋友，對他們期待明年舉辦展會的熱切盼望深感謝意。」巴塞爾藝術展明白藝術界別深受疫症的打擊，我們會繼續緊守支持全球藝廊事業的承諾，以數碼形式推出藝術拓展項目，並於明年2021年舉行香港、巴塞爾及邁阿密海灘展會。巴塞爾藝術展全新<a href="https://www.artbasel.com/ovr?lang=zh_CN" target="_blank">網上展廳</a>將於今年秋季兩度舉行，分別於9月23至26日舉行的「OVR:2020」，展示今年藝術家創作的作品，以及10月28至31日舉行的「OVR:20世紀」，展出自1900年至1999年的藝術作品。其後12月我們將再次舉行網上展廳，接受已獲2020年邁阿密海灘展會參展資格的藝廊申請。更多詳情將於稍後公佈。
