This October, Art Basel Paris will return to the iconic Grand Palais, bringing together 203 leading galleries from 40 countries and territories – including 25 newcomers such as Crèvecœur (Paris), Jan Kaps (Cologne), David Nolan Gallery (New York), and Stevenson (Cape Town, Amsterdam, Johannesburg). With over a third of all exhibitors operating spaces in the French capital and hundreds of participating artists having strong ties to the city, the show will underscore Paris’s unparalelled position as the global nexus of artistic, intellectual, and creative avant-gardes.

The fair will unfold across three distinct sectors. Galeries offers exhibitors the opportunity to present the full breadth of their programs – from masterpieces by 20th-century luminaries to focused presentations of ultra-contemporary voices. Emergence will spotlight radical new projects by a rising generation of artists, while Premise will feature singular curatorial proposals that broaden our understanding of art history and may include works created before 1900.

Beyond the majestic nave of the Grand Palais, Art Basel Paris will once again activate the city through its freely accessible Public Program – developed in collaboration with leading cultural institutions and with Miu Miu as Public Program Official Partner. Key highlights will be a curated exhibition in the Jardin des Tuileries by Mouna Mekouar, staged in partnership with the Musée du Louvre, and the Conversations program taking place at the Petit Palais. The fair’s experimental edge will also come to the fore in Oh La La!, a two-day initiative inviting exhibitors to rehang their booths in response to a thematic prompt.

As museums and foundations across Paris prepare for a season of landmark exhibitions – from Gerhard Richter at Fondation Louis Vuitton to Otobong Nkanga at the Musée d’Art Moderne – Art Basel Paris will anchor an unmissable week of artistic discovery and cultural exchange.
