The second edition of Paris+ par Art Basel is about to kick off!
Before heading to the Grand Palais Éphémère, take a look at the 156 participating galleries on our Exhibitors page. Don’t forget to download the floorplan to explore the huge variety of Modern and contemporary artworks on display in the Galeries and Galeries Émergentes sectors.
Our public program, free and open to all, is dedicated to art projects located right in the heart of Paris. This year two new sites have been added to the key destinations across the capital: the Palais d’Iéna and the Parvis de l’Institut de France.
The Jardin des Tuileries will host ‘La Cinquième Saison’, an exhibition curated by the Musée Louvre-Lens director Annabelle Ténèze, and featuring large-scale works by artists including Gaetano Pesce, Alicja Kwade, John Giorno, and Zanele Muholi. At Place Vendôme, Urs Fischer will present Wave (2018), a five-meter-high aluminum sculpture. Jessica Warboys will take over the Chapelle des Petits-Augustins des Beaux-Arts de Paris with her exhibition ‘THIS TAIL GROWS AMONG RUINS’ (2023), featuring a single-channel video and large unstretched paintings. The Palais d’Iéna will host a joint project by Daniel Buren and Michelangelo Pistoletto, curated by Matthieu Poirier. At the Parvis de l’Institut de France, VERS DES HORIZONS INCONNUS, (2023), a monumental sculpture by Sheila Hicks, will take center stage.
Our Conversations program will be curated for the second time by Charles Teyssou and Pierre-Alexandre Mateos, this year in partnership with the Centre Pompidou, and held at the Musée national Picasso-Paris. The program will celebrate avant-garde figures such as Chantal Akerman and Antonin Artaud; shed light on purveyors of contemporary myths, from the Walt Disney Studios to drag culture; explore the connections between Paris, the Maghreb, and the Caribbean; and feature known formats from Art Basel’s Conversations programs, such as the Premiere Artist Talk and The Artist and The Collector.
Performances will take place between talks, including one by the musician and choreographer Blackhaine. All Conversations are free and open to all upon reservation and will be streamed live on our Facebook page.

The OVR will be accessible to everyone from Friday, October 20 at 11am.
For even more art, inspiration, and encounters, we have created a rich events program. Check out our calendar, which brings together all of the exhibitions, opening nights, special openings, guided tours, previews, conferences, festivals, and more on offer during the fair.
There will be countless exhibitions and artistic events taking place across the city during the week of Paris+ par Art Basel. At the Centre Pompidou, don’t miss the Prix Marcel Duchamp, for which artists Bertille Bak, Tarik Kiswanson, Massinissa Selmani, and Bouchra Khalili have been nominated this year. At Lafayette Anticipations, Akeem Smith and Issy Wood will each present a solo show. Bourse de Commerce – Pinault Collection will host a retrospective of American artist Mike Kelley and at the Palais de Tokyo, Lili Reynaud-Dewar will present ‘Hello My Name Is Lili And We Are Many’.
