Abandon is a photo series taken in more than 20 places around the U.S. In order to know more about America, Kato travelled all around the U.S. starting from NY in January 2013. Simply using a rope, Kato pulled abandoned objects while going around places like Detroit after the economic collapse or New Orleans with remaining scars from the Hurricane Katrina. The houses and cars in the photographs were abandoned on the site by someone had been there. The background of the photograph displays the context the place has.
