Mariam Suhail’s work stems from the incidental, undocumented minutia of conversations, media, culture, and the everyday. Mariam Suhail’s recent presentations include 'All the World’s Futures,' curated by Okwui Enwezor, the 56th International Art Exhibition La Biennale di Venezia, Venice (2015), the 8th edition of the Berlin Biennale (2014), a solo project at Discoveries, Art Basel Hong Kong (2013), Triple Feature at the Tilton Gallery, New York (2013), and the Skoda Prize 2012 Exhibition at the NGMA, New Delhi (2013). Solo exhibitions include 'Accidental Excavations,' Greynoise, Dubai (2014), 'Breakdown of Shorter Concerns' (2011) and fig. 1. (2009), both exhibited at GALLERYSKE, Bangalore.
