Accurate translation of Johann Sebastian Bach's Goldberg Variations no. 1, 2 and 3 into color based on the correlation Sir Isaac Newton perceived between the color spectrum and the musical scale. The artist is using Newton’s color wheel in which Newton assigned colors to musical notes. Each pair of lights represents the first few minutes of one Goldberg Variation. The top fluorescent of each of the pairs stands for the left hand and the bottom one for the right hand.
