The set of two child chairs placed next to each other seemingly evoke the image of identical child twins like those that appear in the photographs of Diane Arbus and Gochō Shigeo. Furthermore, the small chairs that we once could have been able to sit upon serve as evidence that make us confront notions of the past and time. Kimura through her three-dimensional works intends for the very object itself to be recovered as the image.
