0A video based work, composed by diverse photographic registers (stills 35mm and 120mm), texts and ambience sound made in Montpellier’s public greenhouse (located in south of France): a ‘touristic attraction’ allegedly built as a replica of the Amazonia Forest. Wildness and control overlaps in a controlled experience environment where nature and culture colide in strange as also prosaic ways… textual excerpts form many descriptions and considerations about the ‘forest’ are superimposed to ambience sound, composing a multilayered audio-visual piece that may function as register and reflection at same time, as maybe a
testimony of the failures to recognise our own attachments and dependency to nature (as animals), understood as a broader field of existence.
