A Land So Far, shot over four consecutive Trinidadian carnivals captures the theatre, rawness and creative emancipation enabled by masquerade and associated role play. Reviving suppressed traditions that have been retained and passed down through generations these characters are played and developed over time by the same individuals in a cathartic creative release from their everyday existence.
