N. Dash, born in 1980 and today living between New York and New Mexico, presents us pictures , which are far from being two-dimensional. This works consists of several layers of hand-made paper with strings embedded between the sheets, also serving as hanging system. During the drying process, the still wet upper layer is rubbed in graphite and pigments, which are being absorbed in the paper, drying together with it so as to build a metal-looking surface.
