Emergence of Mathematics: shaped from polished bronze, the trajectory of a thrown stone that moves across a liquid surface. Its movement produces waves on the surface as the tunnel and pathway is drawn by a geometric progression produced by varying the distance of each point. Placed on a base the color of the exhibition space floor, the piece suggests the carving out of a landscape. It creates an analogy of the beginnings of perception, when certain knowledge began to be systematized.
