When the facial images of different people overlap, then what exists is no longer a concrete person. This is the trait of the abstraction of Chinese culture. We are accustomed to “I am you, and you are me.” According to the artist, he was quite interested to see the shape of the facial image fragments at first, and then he was eager to collage these fragments. He randomly picked up those facial image fragments of two people and overlapped them onto one painting. This is one piece of the series. The trace of jigsaw puzzle is clear, though it is still vague to find the appearance of the overlapping individuals.
