The chisel and the sinkhole refers not only to colonialism but metaphorically points out to a utopian reality, free of abuse. The piece links - conceptually, historically and formally - the Colony and the "colonizador" by the mechanics of its operation, and is activated when the music sounds as the handle is turned. As part of the piece, a series of 12 drawings will be presented, made on the perforated paper used to transfer the notes of the tune to the cylinder. This, in order to stress the relevance of the song, historically and as an important component of the artwork.
