First Person Shooter

Video/Film
First Person Shooter continues Huffman's interest in the formal qualities of video art. The dreamlike content of the piece is culled from appropriated sources, such as the green-screen style stock effects of explosions and helicopters found easily on YouTube, and contrasted with Huffman's self-shot videos. The nightmarish soundtrack shifts the imagery toward alternate and poetic readings, subverting its formal intentions.
