This is a triptych painting inspired by Seiki Kuroda’s signature painting Wisdom, Impression, Sentiment (1897-1900) exhibited in the Paris Universal Exposition of 1900, which was also appropriated by Takashi Murakami. This pointillist triptych painting hold a similar composition but it is not mainly focused on an Asian modern art, but rather it disables binary opposition between Western and Oriental influences to weave a view point to see unexpected connecting points such as we could possibly find from “The Three Graces” as a subject matter, which also depicted by dozens of Western painters.
