A compilation of stop-motion animations filmed in Kaimosi, Kenya. The film covers multiple projects including a live project in which the artist has been engaged since 2012 and other single projects created under the theme of ‘sharing.’ In the live project, the artist creates a man-made fishpond in collaboration with people in Kaimosi, aiming to fish at the pond as a next step. Yukihiro Taguchi, a Berlin-based Japanese artist, takes inspiration from unpredictable encounters with everyday objects and people on the streets in given environment, and creates his unique “performative installation” which is a combination of drawing, performance, animation and installation utilizes the space, in the form of stop-motion animation.
