Go Watanabe (b. 1975) produces print and animation works by making 3DCG models of human face and everyday objects around him such as tableware, books, and rooms, and superimposes photographs of the original objects on their surface. He re-models a part of room or scenery and expresses the gradual changes of the surface by divorcing from material law and optical law. 22 lights with books and floor (Library stacks at Aichi University of the Arts) (2017) is based on library stacks at Aichi University of the Arts focuses on movement of lights. Virtual scenery approaches to the audience with strong reality. The subtle energy inherent in his work allows us once again to pause and recognize what our eyes perceive.
