Tamina Amadyar (*1989 in Kabul, based in Berlin) is dealing with memories to places and situations and converts them into reduced but colorful paintings which combine geometric and biomorphic elements and appear as free contemporary translations of the vocabulary of classical modern abstraction.
In saturday night brushstrokes are emphasized even more peremptorily, seemingly appearing as human traces in an abstract image structure.
