Lescher’s pendulum Lilla #4 (2017) emerges subtly as a poetic gesture in space, transmitting force and instability, balance and movement, tension and silence. Neutralized in the space, the functionality of the object ceases to exist and the possibilities of interpretation and meaning multiply. Without an imposed sense of direction or purpose, the presence of the spectator alters the narrative course of the object on a physical and philosophical level.
