'Untitled' gives us the impression of the familiar, yet unfamiliar; tantalizingly hovering between formalism and conceptualism. This form was created by forging, welding and cutting metal to a precise specification, embodying characteristics of displacement from a particular place and of a particular time.
The forged plates arranged in layers mimic the layers of the earth; they still impersonate the earthy characteristics even after being excavated.
