The world today is in a state of permanent transition, in which the process of creating, exhibiting and perceiving art is unavoidably connected to the location of its' production and display. Therefore, in contemporary art, space is considered an immanent parameter with the power to influence art, artist and spectator. With Mirror Plane (2019), Uysal is making the invisible visible, by interconnecting art and its' context. He reveals the space that surrounds the art work and seals it from the outer world. Mehmet Ali Uysal researches art and it's context. The place of the work is the reason and cause for creating the work.
