Peter Blum has collaborated with a wide range of artists both as a gallerist and publisher since he began his career at Galerie Beyeler in Basel, Switzerland in 1971. Blum began Peter Blum Edition in 1980 and was among the first print publishers to work with a new generation of European and American artists including John Baldessari, Louise Bourgeois, Eric Fischl, Alfredo Jaar, Barbara Kruger, Brice Marden, James Turrell, and Luc Tuymans among others.
