Traveling to Hong Kong

By Air

Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) connects 170 destinations through approximately 100 airlines. HKIA is also served by a highly efficient and comprehensive local transportation network; visitors can travel to the city center via Airport Express, Public Transport, or Taxi.

Westminster Travel Ltd. is Art Basel’s official agency for travel and accommodation in Hong Kong.

By Rail

Mass Transit Railway (MTR) is one of the most efficient and far-reaching railway networks in Asia, offering you a safe, modern way to travel around Hong Kong Island, the Kowloon Peninsula and the New Territories. Conveniently located stations bring you to the most popular sightseeing, shopping, entertainment, and dining destinations. The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre is a 10-minute walk from Wan Chai station on MTR's Island Line.

By Ground Transportation

Airport Express: The convenient Airport Express is a 24-minute ride between the Airport and downtown Hong Kong. Once you arrive at your destination of Hong Kong or Kowloon station, a free shuttle bus service is available to most major hotels and transport interchanges.

Public Bus: The airport is well served by public bus routes, taking passengers to and from most parts of Hong Kong. Comfortable and relatively inexpensive, they offer a convenient transport option.

Car or Taxi: The distance between the airport and Hong Kong Island is covered in approximately 45 minutes. The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre provides parking in two underground car parks located at Harbour Road and Expo Drive Central.
