‘South Wing is about exclusion, rejection, being outcast. It’s a fragile, precarious construction no longer inhabited. It might have been constructed by someone alone or by a group, we will never know. Materials from places formerly inhabited were used for this construction. They could be from a prison, an asylum or social housing. That is what South Wing is about.’
