Mao Xuhui (b. 1956-) is one of the important figures in Hong Kong Asia Art Archive “Materials of the Future: Documenting Contemporary Chinese Art from 1980 - 1990” research plan. The work entitled Red Tree is one of his ongoing develop series of nature. Mao’s nature series allow there to be a direct dialogue between man and nature.
