GGG Atelier-Haus, 1st floor, Basel

A dialogue between contemporary practices and 19th-century Symbolist painting, this exhibition brings together works by Margherita Raso, Anastasia Pavlou, and Samuel Bron, alongside a historical contribution by Eugène Carrière (1849 – 1906). Focusing on materiality and process, the show explores how contemporary gestures can enter into resonance with historical ones. Opening Wednesday, June 18 at 8 PM, the exhibition runs Thursday to Sunday, 10 AM to 7 PM at the GGG Atelier-Haus, a historic villa by the Rhine that has hosted artists for over a century. With the support of Hot Wheels (London), Fanta MLN, and Galerie Knoell (Basel).
